Boardprogram Monday, 14th May Côtes d’Azur France Arrival in Cannes at the Cote d’Azur around 08.00h. We have to tender for the city sightseeing of Cannes and walk around Cap d’Antibes. First of all we go by coach to Antibes, situated in between Cannes and Nice on the Cote D’Azur. We will see the superbly preserved medieval town, the cathedral, the 17th century Château Grimaldi, the Picasso Museum and Port Vauban with the numerous high end yachts before we will walk along Cap Antibes. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding coastline on our walk around the Cap. Don’t forget your camera. Finally we will return to Cannes, welknown for the “Cannes Film Festival”. You will have time to explore on your own before you return to the ship. Tuesday, 15th May Majorca Baleric Island/Spain In the morning you will enjoy the activities on board, before we will arrive at 14.00h in Palma de Mallorca, the capital town of the island. On our sightseeing walk through the town we will see the historic Gothic fortress “Castel de Bellver”. Further on we will visit outside and inside the Gothic Cathedral “El Seu”, built in 1230 on the fountains of an ancient mosque with its spectacular setting on the baycliff. Opposite is the Alamudaina Palace former Moorish Palace and still residence of the Spanish King. The old fish market “Sa Llotja” is one of the best examples of civil Gothic architecture in Spain. Spanish tradition kept alive at the Plaza de Toros, where bullfighting events still take place and last but not least we will be at the Plaza Major, where you will find all the nice restaurants and shops in the surrounding. Wednesday, 16th May Barcelona Spain First highlight of your guided walk through Barcelona is the Columbus Statue, built to the commemorate Columbus first voyage to America. From here we will walk along the lively Ramblas and finally enter in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter for a glimpse of the town hall and the Barcelona Cathedral. We will left the Gothic Quarter at Plaza Catalunya to see the works of the master architect Antoni Gaudi the Casa Batlló and Casa Milà before we go by public transport to one of the highlights of Barcelona the Sagrada Familia. We will get know Gaudi’s masterpiece inside and outside, which is still under construction. Use the rest of the day for your own tour experiences. Thursday, 17th May Ajaccio Corsica Island / France Corsica is the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean and belongs to France. Ajaccio is famous in the world for the beautiful places and the birthplace of Bonaparte Napoleon. The Sentier des Crêtes is not only the house route of the Ajaccians, but also one of the most famous hiking trails in the region. The walk over the Salario ridge charms because of the splendid views of the city, the gulf and beautiful landscapes. Friday, 18th May Civitavecchia /Rom Italy Today the bus will bring you in 1,5h to the citycenter of Rome. First up is an outside look at the Colosseum, built between A.D. 70-80 and still the world’s largest amphitheatre, after which you will walk on to the nearby ruins of the Roman Forum, once the centre of Roman public life. Walking on past Piazza Santi Apostoli, you will make your way to the butterfly-shaped Piazza di Spagna. Situated at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, home to the Fontana della Barcaccia (Fountain of the Old Boat) and surrounded by stunning Roman Baroque architecture, this is certainly one of Rome`s most iconic spots. Following some time to call your own to go shopping or have lunch in one of the numerous nearby cafés, bars and restaurants, you will continue your walk past the Pantheon, one of Rome’s best-preserved ancient Roman temples, en route to your next highlight: the Roman Baroque Piazza Navona. If the times allows we will pass over the Tiber to the St. Peter's Square to visit the Basilica independently. Here we will arrange a walk along the coastline. Afterwards you will have some free time to explore the cosy streets before boarding again. First we will see the superbly preserved medieval town, the cathedral, the 17

di, the Picasso Museum and Port Vauban with the numerous high end yachts before we
will go to Cap Antibes where we will have great views of the surrounding coastline on our walk
around the Cap.
Don’t forget your camera. Finally we will return to Cannes, w
elknown for the
“Cannes Film Festival”.
You will have time to explore on your own before you return to the ship.

First highlight of your guided walk through Barcelona is the Columbus Statue,
built to the commemorate Columbus first voyage to America.
From here we
will walk along the lively Ramblas and finally enter in Barcelona’s Gothic Quart
er
for a glimpse of
the town hall and the Barcelona Cathedral. We will left the Gothic Quarter at Plaza Catalunya to
see the works of the master architect Antoni Gaudi the Casa Batlló and Casa Milà before we go
by public transport to one of the highlights
of Barcelona the Sagrada Familia.

centre of Roman public life. Moving on past Piazz
a Santi Apostoli, you will make your way to the
butterfly

shaped Piazza di Spagna. Situated at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, home to the
Fontana della Barcaccia (Fountain of the Old Boat) and surrounded by stunning Roman Baroque
architecture, this is ce

Following some time to call your

villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore that sit like little

eritage Site.
Here we will arrange a walk along the coastline
from town to town
, afterwards y
